Noah's Walk.....(June 8,2013)
In support of the many faces of Autism, Reverend Wayne will walk from the Quebec/NL boarder to the Anik Lodge, where he will be met by his fellow supporters and continue the walk to St. Paul's church in Labrador City.  Our monthly Family service will take place the following day, June 9th and afterwards we will celebrate together with the many professionals in our communities who are there to assist those many faces of Autism.  All members of the community are welcomed and encouraged to join us.  A Bar B Q will follow the June 9 joint family service.

Recipe Tasting Night.....(April 28, 2013)
Please join us on Sunday, April 28 at 8:00 p.m. in the basement of St. Paul's, Labrador City.  Pick one of your favorite recipes - savoury or sweet, healthy or not!  Prepare it, and come to the church with your dish and the recipe (your recipe will go in our Keepsake Cookbook)!  Sample everyone's dishes, talk, chit chat, eat more and enjoy!  Come out for an evening of relaxation and socialization and sample some to the recipes that will appear in our Keepsake Cookbook.  Please RSVP by Thursday, April 25, 2013 with the name of your recipe to Leanne Squire or contact the Parish Office at 944-2260.

Keepsake Cookbook.....(April 24, 2013)
The Anglican Parish of Labrador West and our Children's Fun Church, BUZZ, are creating a cookbook as a keepsake for our BUZZ program and we need your help!!  Give us your favorite recipes by April 24th -- up to five recipes per person. Contact the Parish Office at 944-2260 to find out how you can submit yours!

Winter Fun Parish Sliding.....(March 9, 2012)
Join us on Saturday March 9 at the Wabush water tower, behind St. Peter's Church, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.   Bring your own sled and we'll take care of the rest!!  Come out and celebrate the warmer temperatures, and enjoy a hot dog and some hot chocolate.

BUZZ Cancelled.....(January 23,2013)
For tonight, January 23, 2013, Children's Fun Church BUZZ will not go ahead due to extreme cold temperatures and keeping with school closure policy.  Service of Holy Eucharist at 6:30 p.m. WILL GO AHEAD.

BUZZ Family Skate.....(February 8, 2013)
BUZZ will be hosting a family skate on Friday, February 8th from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Labrador City Arena.  We would love to see everyone there!  Parents and/or guardians are also welcome to strap on their skates!  Refreshments will be served!

BUZZ Beach Party.....(February 6, 2013)
Tired of cold temps?  Sick of the snow?  BUZZ has the anwer for you!  It's the BUZZ beach party!  WEDNESDAY, February 6th at 6:30 p.m. in the basement of St. Paul's church.  Games like beach relay race, sand bucket toss and the limbo!  Prizes, loot bags and beach picnic of sandwiches, tropical fruit and cupcakes!  Come dressed in summer wear (under your snowsuits, of course!)  and please bring a beach towel to sit on for the picnic.  We look forward to seeing everyone there!

BUZZ singing rehearsal.....(December 19)
The BUZZ children will be performing Away in a Manager at the 5:00 p.m. Christmas Eve service at St. Paul's.  We would like to encourage all BUZZ parents and /or caregivers to make a special effort to attend this service with their children so our performance can be the very best possible.  WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 19 we ask the children to come at 6:30 p.m. to the basement of St. Paul's for a final performance rehearsal (there will be NO regular BUZZ programming this evening)

BUZZ Christmas Party.....(December 12)
At our regular 6:30 p.m. time, we will have games, prizes and gift for each child as well as pizza and drinks!!   This will be our LAST regular BUZZ before Christmas break.  We will resume regular 6:30 p.m. BUZZ programming on JANUARY 9th.

BUZZ Movie Night.....(November 21)
Join us for a special viewing of Veggie Tales Robin Good and His Not-So-Merry Men on the big screen!  Popcorn, drinks, and treats will be provided.  See you there!  6:30 p.m.

Back To Church Sunday.....(October 28)
Sunday, October 28th has been designated as Back To Church Sunday by the Ministerial Association. This week, all residential addresses in Labrador West, will receive an invitation with service times for all participating members. Likewise, personal invitations to invite a friend, are available at the entrance of our church. Media coverage through the Aurora, CBC radio, and roll-ups, will air this week in communicating the event to the wider community. Why not invite a friend to come along that day!!  

BUZZ Harvest Party.....(October 24, 2012)
Join the Children's Fun Church at 6:30 p.m. on October 24th in the basement of St. Paul's for a fun filled Harvest Party!  The fun includes face painting, pin the stem on the pumpkin, pass the apple, cupcake walk and even a pumpkin seed spitting contest!!! (and many more!)  Lots of prizes, a treat bag, and fun for children of all ages!  Games are followed by sandwiches, cake and drinks.

BUZZ Pre-registration.....(September 25, 2012)
BUZZ is back!! Our children's fun church will hold pre-registration on Tuesday September 25 at 7:30 p.m. in the basement of St. Paul's Church, 620 Hudson Drive, Labrador City.  The fun begins with the first class on Wednesday October 3 at 6:30 p.m. at the same location!!  All children ages 2-11 are welcome to attend.  You can also register during the first class.

Family Fun Day and Barbeque.....(September 15, 2012) DATE CHANGE!!!!  SEPTEMBER 22, 2012

Anglican Connected.....(September 19, 2012)

Special Service.....(April 25, 2012)
We would like to extend an open invitation and warm welcome to young families of our faith community.  Come join us for a celebration of young families at St. Paul's on Wednesday, April 25th at 6:30 p.m.  This brief service will be followed by a time of food, fellowship and age appropriate activities for young children in our downstairs.  Why not mark your calendar and join us that evening?  You will be glad you did!!

BUZZ (Children's Fun Church) finale......(March 28, 2012)
This evening, March 28th will mark the closing of our BUZZ program until Fall 2012.  Tonight the children will celebrate their love for God by sharing in the fun activities that an indoor BEACH PARTY can provide!  7:00 p.m. in the basement of St. Paul's Anglican Church while upstairs will be service of Holy Comm.
Please note:  Wednesday evening Eucharist services will continue until April 25, despite the BUZZ finale

BUZZ (Children's Fun Church)......(March 21, 2012)
The 7:00 p.m. BUZZ is cancelled for this evening, as our children's program follow the closure policy of local schools, who were not opened today due to poor road conditions in town. Next Wednesday, March 28th is the final BUZZ evening scheduled.  This program will resume in the fall.  Tonight's  7:00 p.m. service of Holy Eucharist WILL GO AHEAD.

Youth/Young Families Co-ordinator......(March 14, 2012)
The Rector would like to announce the appointment of Mrs. Leanne Squire as our new youth/young families co-ordinator.  Leanne will work with the Rector in the planning and carrying out of 4 youth/young family events annually in the parish.  Leanne is the current BUZZ, children's fun church, co-ordinator and is looking forward to her new and expanded role within the parish.  Congratulations Leanne!

Anglican Church Women give to Queen's College......(March 1, 2012)
The Anglican Church Women of St. Paul's in Labrador City generously forwarded a donation of $500.00 to the Queen's College Appeal for 2012.  This was lovingly forwared in the memory of Archdeacon Francis Buckle.

Local Outreach Ministry......(February 27, 2012)
During a service of Thanksgiving for the life and ministry of Archdeacon Francis Buckle we collected an offering that we are sending to the parish of Southeast Labrador to aid in their ministry...Our offerings that evening were $1,142.00.  Many thanks to the generosity of all who came to give thanks for Archdeacon Buckle with us.
